We offer a range of Darwin Fishing Charters throughout the Top End, weather it be a day on the Billabong to enjoy a day fishing with a backdrop of wildlife including crocodiles and the various birds of the Northern Territory, white bellied sea eagles, jabirus and Brolgas.
Alternatively fish the coastal islands, harbours and estuaries surrounding Darwin for Barra and bluewater species, including queenfish, GTs, snapper and mackeral. Mudcrabbing, put your crab pots down, maybe cast for some fish whilst waiting and pull up some crabs for dinner.
Included in Safaris
A typical day safari will include being picked up at around 5.00am from your Darwin Accommodation and being transferred in an accredited air-conditioned 4WD. Your guide will stop along the way for you to grab yourself a coffee and something for breakfast. On sunrise the boat will be launched for you to start your day’s fishing. Once in the boat, morning tea, snacks and light refreshments, including iced water are provided. We use top quality tackle, which is serviced regularly to ensure optimal use. A hearty lunch is provided where you will pull up and have a bite to eat. Then onto the rest of the day getting off the water between 2.00 – 3.00pm and we will have you back in town at approximately 5.00pm.
If you do not want to fish with a large group of people and do the long boat trips offshore, bluewater fishing tours for smaller groups are offered. Popular Bluewater spots includes Dundee Beach and Vernon Islands where Queenfish, Trevally, Jewfish, Golden Snapper, Spanish Mackerel and Tuna are targeted to name a few.
Billabong Fishing Safaris
Fishing the NT Billabongs including Corroboree and Shady Camp, enjoy a day on the water with your guide, not only fish for barra, you may get onto a saratoga or a tarpon.
See various wildlife that congregate to the billabongs as the waters receed from the wet, including crocodiles, whistling ducks and jabiru.

Head to one of the harbour arms or estuary's to put down some mud crab pots to enjoy a feed to take home and cook up. Times to go out depends on the tides so are at various times throughout the day.

Darwin Harbour is a great backdrop for a half day fishing trip, Depending on the tides and time of year you will be able to fish for Queenfish, Barra, Snapper, Trevally as well as a number of sportfish visiting throughout the year. The harbour has many wrecks from both World War II and Cyclone Tracy and mangrove lined coasts and creeks.
