Safety of all our passengers is our first priority, upon boarding our boats you will be briefed about our boats safety equipment and how to use it in the unlikely event of an emergency.
We advise all customers to listen to your experienced guide to ensure a safe day out on the water, you will be briefed on the correct use of your fishing tackle.
As you will be in the Northern Territory and the Australian sun can be harsh, we advise all passengers to bring a wide-brimmed hat and sunscreen to avoid the affects of the sun. Our boat is in current Northern Territory transport requirements and are fully equipped with all required safety equipment.
All bookings require payment of a 20% deposit within 7 days to confirm the booking. Failure to pay the deposit may result in the booking to be cancelled.
For Extended Charters final payment must be made no later than 30 days prior to departure. Failure to make final payment within this time may result in the booking being cancelled.
Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

- Bookings Cancelled to 15 days prior to booking incur a 20% charge of booking cost.
- Bookings Cancelled inside 14 days incur 100% charge of booking cost.

Instructions or advice given by the Guide on matters of safety must be observed by all passengers on board and passengers must, at all times, take all reasonable precautions for their own and others safety.
The guide does not accept any liability for any accident or injury incurred by any passenger on board the vessel engaged in fishing, angling, sightseeing, photography, filming, whilst in transit or similar activities, caused by the actions of any other passenger on board howsoever occurring.
The Northern Territory can experience rough weather conditions. On such occasions, the Guide has the discretion to decide whether to commence a trip or, if a trip has commenced, to seek shelter during a trip.
If the trip is cancelled due to bad weather no refund will be given. However passengers will be given the option re-book another trip. The full amount paid will be applied towards the rescheduled trip. The rescheduled trip will be for the equivalent value.
Reel Screamin Barra Fishing recommends that all passengers traveling during the Top End’s Cyclone season (1 November – 30 April) purchase comprehensive travel insurance, including cancellation cover, at the time of booking. The insurance will protect the passengers against an emergency that may cause a passenger to cancel their tour or leave their tour whilst on tour.
MEDICAL / DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
Reel Screamin Barra Fishing caters for all meals whilst on tour. Any passengers with special dietary needs must inform Reel Screamin Barra Fishing at the time of final payment.
It is the responsibility of the passengers to inform Reel Screamin Barra Fishing of any medical requirements prior to departure. All passengers are responsible for their own medication.
Reel Screamin Barra Fishing takes no responsibility for any injuries sustained to passengers or damage to personal property, whilst boarding the vessel, for the duration of the tour, or disembarking from the vessel unless such injury is caused by the wilful neglect of the owner or its employees. Passengers board the vessel at their own risk.
Reel Screamin Barra Fishing may take photographs on the vessel and publish the photographs on the website or in television or written media advertising for promotional purposes. Please advise Reel Screamin Barra Fishing if you do not wish any photographs to be taken for such purposes.
Any Quoted Prices DO NOT Include
Airfares and airport taxes, any costs incurred getting to and from your destination, alcoholic beverages, telephone calls, items of a personal nature, any damage to accommodation caused by clients, and any personal services not outlined in our information section of this website.
Lures and Tackle
Tackle is on a replace if lost basis. We understand there are unavoidable losses with lures and broken rods, you are not required to replace these. Where lures are lost and rods broken where it can be avoided and by not listening to your guide, you will be charged for these. Any tackle lost overboard is to be replaced by the client.
